WaruTech is responsible for the repair, maintenance and user support of over 70 computers situated in 18 remote communities across the APY lands. The design of the computer systems enables them to be administered remotely to such a high degree that it is possible to add new software to an internet centre via the Internet. Each computer is locked down so that it is not able to be damaged, or any configuration changed without the correct level of access. IT support is provided through a telephone help-line, remote monitoring and regular site visits.
