Twenty eight years ago Mimili Community began, before this I worked at Everard Park Station for 9 to 11 years mustering, branding, droving and breaking horses in for gymkana’s. We used to take some of our horses to Marla and Oodnadatta. At a race at Watinuma Station, we where told the A.P.Lands were about to begin. Now I am the Nganampa Health Mayatjor for Mimili Clinic and have been for the past two years. Before this I was the Mimili Mayatjor of the Council back when there was no store and houses, slowly we began to receive them. The School had a caravan to start with and a couple of sheds. Mimili Community now is fantastic, there are bitumen roads, a new store, great school and clinic and many new houses.

I have been working as an Aged Care worker for the past two years, my responsibility is providing healthy food for the elders of the Community. I like this work as it allows me to provide good food everyday.
